Search Results In Arrests Of Man, Woman Accused Of Dealing Drugs In Westport

Three suspects were taken into police custody in Fairfield County after allegedly selling marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia that was could be accessed by minors.

Detectives from the Westport Police Department executed a search warrant at a Saugatuck Avenue home on Dec. 11 last year, following a narcotics investigation.

According to police, during the search, officers seized marijuana, vape pens, cartridges and drug paraphernalia, which was found to be within reach of minors, and belonged to local residents Josiah Alicea, Alyssa Alicea and Malik Lewis.

Police said that investigators found evidence Josiah Alicea had been selling marijuana and marijuana products, including honey butane oil containing THC. Arrest warrants were issued and later approved by a local court.

All three suspects turned themselves into police custody at the Westport Police Department on Tuesday, March 5. Josiah Alicea was charged with operation of a drug factory; Alyssa Alicea and Lewis were charged with risk of injury to a minor. Following their arrests, all three were released on $10,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Justice Court on Friday, March 15.
